By exploring the exposure settings of your camera, you could have pictures looking more brilliant with 0.5 to 2 stops underexposed in bright surroundings, and scenes appearing more clear with some overexposure. Just by simple tuning of the exposure level, you can create
pictures which can bring out different moods from people viewing it. Thats why the quote "A Picture Says A Thousand Words" is very true indeed ! For newbies, try out bracketing (i.e: Take the same photos with different exposure levels) and take your favorite pick from them.
Trick #2 - Bring out some creative blur in photos

By introducing some well-planned blur in photos, you can bring across certain important features, while using the rest as good complement, providing an overall nice touch. This can be done in 2 basic types.
First type is depth-of-field blur. Varying the lens aperture between 0.4 to 1.4 can create a lovely, soft background blur which bring sharp focus to the subject in the foreground.
Second type is movement blur. Done by setting the camera exposure on shutter priority, and keep it slow so as to capture interesting streaks as the subject moves in front of the camera.

Cell Phones and the Dentist
Don't you just hate people who talk on their cell phones while they drive? Blindly babbling away, not paying attention to the road, endangering everyone nearby … so inconsiderate.
Anyway, today while I was chatting on the phone and driving to the dentist, I got a tiny bit distracted and turned onto the wrong road … twice. But I cleverly figured out a shortcut back to where I belonged and pulled into the parking lot right on time. Unfortunately, it was the parking lot at my doctor's office, not my dentist's.
Now, I've always been a little reluctant to go to the dentist. When I was young, they used to lie to me to get me there. Of course once I knew what was happening I would throw a crying fit — in the car on the way to the dentist, in the elevator on the way up to the office, in the waiting room, in the dentist's chair throughout the entire visit, in the office while my mother paid, in the elevator on the way down, in the car on the way home, and once again when my father came home that night just to be sure everyone knew how I felt about it.
My mother was afraid of the dentist. And she shared that fear and its effects with her children. She picked our dentist based solely on the fact that he would give her lots of Novocain. Lots of Novocain. Much Novocain. Beyond that, she never really bothered about the skills-as-a-dentist thing.
My own theory is that dentistry was invented by Beelzebub, based largely on the fact that our dentist looked exactly the way I imagined a Devil's minion would look. And, oh, by the way, when we were finally done and wanted nothing more than to run as fast and as far as possible, he would smile at us kids, with his coke-bottle-thick glasses making him look popeyed, and hand us each a lollipop. Maybe not the best dentist, but surely a clever businessman lining up return customers.
Today, even after better dentists have shown me that there may possibly be some redeeming value in dental care, I still get a bit unsettled before an appointment. Therefore, I have two things to say about the cell phone thing:
1) It might have been the fact of going to the dentist that distracted me and not the cell phone. I think, maybe, my subconscious was trying to get me to go to the wrong place and miss my appointment completely. Self-protection is a very powerful instinct in times of peril. That could explain it.
2) If it was the cell phone use, I think I deserve an exemption from condemnation because, after all, I was on my way to the dentist. Maybe I wouldn't have been able to talk again when I came out. One little slip of the drill and, oops. Or I could have choked on one of the forty appliances they had crammed into my mouth just before asking me how I was doing.
Either way, I feel completely justified in continuing to judge others if they use a cell phone while driving. Unless, of course, I learn that they were on their way to the dentist.

How many of you have gone to a concert and paid well over 100 dollars for a ticket? If you like a certain group you will have to pay well over a hundred dollars to go see them in concert. I love music and can't afford to go to a concert so when I found out that I could watch a concert on a DVD I was very happy.
I caught the middle of am eagles concert on television one night. I love the eagles and I wanted to see the whole concert so I first looked on eBay for the concert on a DVD. The cheapest one I found was over 20.00 then there were shipping charges.
I know this probally doesn't seem like a lot of money to most of you but my husband and I are on disability so we don't have a lot of extra money to spend being on a fixed income. I always knew that you could go to Wal-mart and buy a movie on a DVD but I never thought they would have the eagles concert on a DVD. Well I was shopping one day and went to the musical section and found that same concert on TV on a DVD. It cost me only 11.00
I got home and was so excited to find out I could watch the eagles farewell concert on the DVD. I really liked a certain song of the Eagles and I missed the song when they were on television but now I had the DVD and it had all of the concert and extra bonus tracks on it. I don't have to worry about a commercial and I can skip through any part I want.
I have also seen a repeat of the eagles concert on television and it didn't have half as much on television as it did on the DVD. When I bought the eagles in concert I also got a booklet with the DVD that talked bout each member of the eagles band. These DVDs are absolutely wonderful. The time you have to try and get through the crowd of people and have to pay money for souvenirs and the cost of the tickets it is so much nicer to save money and feel comfortable in the privacy of your own home watching a DVD. I know a family member that spent about 500.00 for just 3 members of the family to see a concert live. I also know it was very hard to understand what they were singing because of all of the noise and the microphone.
I sure didn't have any problems with the sound or picture watching my eagles concert on my DVD. So if you like a certain group look for a concert of theirs on a DVD rather then going to a concert. It will save you a lot of money and a lot of headache. I also want to mention there are musical DVDs available and the money you spend buying the DVD goes for a good cause. I have the We are the world DVD and all the money people paid to buy the DVD went for a very good cause.
I caught the middle of am eagles concert on television one night. I love the eagles and I wanted to see the whole concert so I first looked on eBay for the concert on a DVD. The cheapest one I found was over 20.00 then there were shipping charges.
I know this probally doesn't seem like a lot of money to most of you but my husband and I are on disability so we don't have a lot of extra money to spend being on a fixed income. I always knew that you could go to Wal-mart and buy a movie on a DVD but I never thought they would have the eagles concert on a DVD. Well I was shopping one day and went to the musical section and found that same concert on TV on a DVD. It cost me only 11.00
I got home and was so excited to find out I could watch the eagles farewell concert on the DVD. I really liked a certain song of the Eagles and I missed the song when they were on television but now I had the DVD and it had all of the concert and extra bonus tracks on it. I don't have to worry about a commercial and I can skip through any part I want.
I have also seen a repeat of the eagles concert on television and it didn't have half as much on television as it did on the DVD. When I bought the eagles in concert I also got a booklet with the DVD that talked bout each member of the eagles band. These DVDs are absolutely wonderful. Digital Camera Ling
Every advance in technology creates new terms, acronyms and definitions. The digital camera revolution is no different. When shopping for your first digital camera, it is always good to know the lingo. Saves you from that stupid feeling one often gets when speaking with sales people. I hope this glossary helps.
Aperture
The size of the lens opening, which controls how much light, passes through the lens. Aperture is measured in f-stops. A higher number equals a smaller amount of light. Most digital
cameras allow manual aperture settings.
Auto Focus
This feature automatically focuses your picture at the touch of a button. By pressing slightly on the shutter release, the auto focus feature of the camera is activated.
CCD
The CCD (charged couple device) is the electronic imaging device that forms your picture in the camera. In other words, it is the electronic version of film for a digital camera. The higher pixel counts in the CCD, the more detailed image.
Digital Image Stabilization
A process by which blurring in pictures caused by camera movement is minimized and possibly eliminated.
Digital Zoom
A function which can enlarge a picture by increasing the size of the pixels. This often results in some fuzziness of the subject.
DPI
DPI stands for dots per inch. It also refers to the resolutions of the picture. The higher the DPI, the sharper the picture.

Taking on remodeling projects for your home is one issue, but if you have ever thought about remodeling your business then chances are that you may have become very intimidated at the thought of it. You might start by purchasing a model kit online and waiting for it to arrive. You’re probably excited and can’t wait to get started. The kit arrives, you open it, and are overwhelmed by the number of pieces. You open the plans, which appear to be written in a language you cannot understand, and you wonder if your choice was wise. Not to worry!! You’ll have that model together in no time.
Chances are you’ve chosen model ships because you have a connection to the sea and boats, which means you are familiar with some of the nautical terms like deck, bulkhead, stern, port and starboard, caulk a plank, and even some of the decorative knots that are used. If you aren’t familiar with these terms, you can quickly become familiar just by doing a little research online.
When you are ready to start building, there are many online sites that offer classes on how to build model boats and model ships. Some cater to a specific level of building or a specific type of boat. You’ll be able to find classes for the beginner along with classes for people who are more advanced.
These sites also offer forums where you can discuss building with others, get help, and solve problems. Some also have live chat available with staff that can assist you with specific questions or problems you have.
There are also some excellent model ship building books on the market. Again, there are books that cater to the beginner and those that cater to the more experienced builder.

Ziua mediului
Într-o dimineață, în timp ce luau micul dejun, o femeie i-a spus soțului ei:
- Fac pariu că habar n-ai ce zi e astăzi.
- Cum să nu știu? o întrebă el indignat. Cum crezi ca aș fi putut uita?
După ce a spus acestea, s-a ridicat de la masă și a plecat la lucru.
La ora 10 dimineața sună cineva la ușă. Femeia deschise și primește o cutie plină cu trandafiri roșii.
La prânz mai primește o cutie din bomboanele ei preferate de ciocolată, iar mai târziu un curier îi livrează o rochie superbă.
Femeia de-abia aștepta să se întoarcă soțul ei acasă.
- Prima dată florile, după aceea ciocolata și în cele din urmă rochia!, exclamă ea entuziasmată. N-am petrecut niciodată într-un mod mai fascinant Ziua Mediului!

Am dat cu coasa
Prin grădină.M-am dus pe la ora 6 la grădină,pe răcoare.Și dă-i,și dă-i cu coasa,și iarba uscată,uscată.Abia se tăia.Mai mult pe deasupra ierbii decât prin iarbă.Și tot de două-trei ori în același loc.A mers mai ușor într-un loc unde avem lucernă.Unde este iarba e dezastru,abia o tai.Mâine poate mai dau o tură de coasă,de dimineață,până nu dă căldura.Se cam uscă totul în grădină,ar fi bună o ploaie.
